Judy Hayes Memorial Fund

A grassy field

In Memory of Judy Hayes, Founding Williamson County Board Member

In 2005, the Williamson County Fair returned after a 55 year absence and Judy Hayes was an integral part of the process. Mrs. Judith Grigsby Hayes was a multi-generational resident of our county and a life-long advocate for preserving our agricultural heritage. She established and chaired the Historical Village of our fair and preserved numerous relics throughout our county to be utilized in a permanent Historic Village for our county. Though this permanent home did not come to fruition prior to her passing in May, 2026, efforts are currently underway for the establishment of a Historic Village for our county that will forever mirror her love for agriculture, preservation and a simpler way of life.

In her memory, the Williamson County Fair Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit entity is taking donations to be utilized towards a permanent Historic Village in Williamson County which will serve as an educational exhibit and tour of the way of life in which she grew up in.
