The 2009 Williamson County Fair Presented by Tractor Supply Company ended August 15th with our biggest day since the return of the fair five (5) years ago!! Our thanks to EVERYONE who brought their families out to enjoy this year’s fair. Many of you volunteered throughout the nine (9) days of the fair and your time is greatly appreciated - the fair could not operate without the thousands of hours donated by our volunteers!!

We appreciate our concessionaires and booth vendors who contribute to the fun and festivities for our visitors to enjoy! And our fair owes a debt of gratitude to our dedicated sponsors, as well; many of whom have supported us each year! Each and everyone of you have an impact on the fair and the activities we are able to provide for the community to enjoy.

There are many opportunities available for those wishing to help with the 2010 fair and you are encouraged to contact us to learn how you can help in planning or participating in next year’s activities.

As we look forward to the 2010 fair, scheduled for August 6-14, 2010, we encourage our school-aged children to submit their ideas for a theme for our 6th year fair and draw a logo depicting that theme. Deadline for submitting same to the Williamson County Fair Association (P. O. Box 329, Franklin, TN, 37065) is November 1st. If chosen for use by the Fair Board at their meeting later that month, prizes will be awarded to the individual for their theme and artwork.

All the entertainment is booked, the premium catalog is almost ready to go to print, sponsors are signing on the dotted line, 10 percent of the booths have been secured and a new feature has been added to the 2009 Williamson County Fair.
