Our nation’s heritage comes alive in this exciting tribute to the people and animals that built America. This family-friendly show teaches the importance of environmental conservation and safe wildlife interaction while spotlighting the values of our country’s founders. Daily show includes a Western Shootout reenactment with toy guns. Live ammunition will not be used.


Rhinestone Roper

From rip-roarin’ musical numbers to displays of trick roping, bullwhip cracking, gun-slinging, and knife throwing, you’ll be entertained in “wild west” style! Audience participation encouraged.


Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show

An interactive event that invites children to dress up as stars of the show based on the historic acts of the Wild West.

 


Go Native Now

Learn about Eastern (Creek) and Western (Comanche) Native Americans from pre-history to the 1800s.

Western Encampment including two tipi’s, lean two and officers tent with displays from primitive through the trade era into the 1880′s, featuring a Southern Plains Comanche lodge with Little Big Mountain dressed in 1870′s regalia.  Additionally, a second lodge features a woman’s tipi with Laura Alcorn Northern Plains Blackfoot (Montana) with a woman’s role in everyday camp life.  Interactive between scheduled performances in camp with public.


New Rides on the Midway

Wave Swinger

The Wave Swinger joined the Drew Exposition ride line-up in 2011. The Wave Swinger was manufactured by Zierer of Germany and is one of the most spectacular and elegant swing rides to tour North America.

Tea Time

Riders sit in over sized tea cups and are actually able to control the spin speed of their vehicle. The Tea Time makes for a great family ride!


Donkey Show (Miniature & Standard)

Show:  Sunday, August 7th, 2:00 pm

Come out and watch exhibitors (youth and adult) with their beautiful donkeys as they put them thru their paces…..driving, jumping, and obstacles – whatever they are doing, the donkey aims to please!  The show will be held Sunday, August 7th in the pavilion on the west side of the arena at 2:00 pm.


Patriot Day – Career Coach

Saturday, August 13th, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Located in the front parking lot, and FREE to the public.

In an effort to assist citizens with employment services, the Williamson County Fair has partnered with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development to bring the Career Coachto the fair!!  The Career Coach is a mobile center complete with a computer lab, internet access, workshop assistance for resume’ writing and interviewing skills.

While not specific just to Veterans, the Career Coach will be staffed with a Veteran’s representative to assist Veterans with specific needs.  The Career Coach is open to the public, providing  basic instructions for computer hardware and software use, including job search database and training workshops.  The Career Coach is ADA compliant.
