"New This Year"
Yoppi the Roller Coaster
Yoppi, a family friendly roller coaster will be coming to the Williamson County Fair for the first time this year!
The X-Factory features a long gondola, in which 18 persons can be seated next to each other. This gondola is mounted on two arms that revolve. By its speed of approximately 20 rpm. the participants get a feeling as if they glide. During the ride cycle the gondola can be tipped forward approximately 20 degrees from the vertical, and this, combined with the new water jet fountains, provides an exciting new dimension to this popular attraction.
The Seattle Wheel was created by the Valarie Brothers for the Worlds Fair in Seattle, Washington. The Seattle Wheel stands at over 90' tall and is capable of accommodating two adults or three children in one of its 16 spacious tubs. To this day, we currently operate the only Seattle Wheel on the road.
The Enterprise, manufactured by Huss of Germany, features 20-two passenger vehicles. As the ride begins to spin, the free swinging vehicles swing out, and the ride rises at a 85 degree angle twirling riders upside down!
The Pirate is a full size swinging ship that is bound to make you “sea sick” with its lingering rocking motion.
The carousel has been around for centuries creating family tradition throughout the years. This carousel was created by the Alan Herschel Company and features all original scenery, decking and animals.
This ride features six vehicles for children to ride on including a bus, jeep, sports car, and a fire engine!
The Cyclops is one of the most popular rides of the 21st century. Riders sit in one of the twenty-four suspended seats and are secured with over-the-shoulder harnesses. Soon, the “claw” begins to spin and the giant pendulum begins to rock back and fourth, eventually reaching full swing at over 75 feet in the air!
The ION is one of the fastest rides on the American midway. It features 18-two seat vehicles which spin at 26 revolutions per minute. The vehicles are connected to six sweeps connected to a hub that spins at 24 revolutions per minute. As the ride begins to rotate, the sweeps raise at a 45 degree angle!
This giant slide has been a popular attraction for midways for the past decade. Rides slide down a 90′ long slide!
The Wave Swinger joined the Drew Exposition ride line-up in 2011. The Wave Swinger was manufacturered by Zierer of Germany and is one of the most spectacular and elegant swing rides to tour North America.
Riders sit in over sized tea cups and are actually able to control the spin speed of their vehicle. The Tea Time makes for a great family ride!
